Martina Zadro is a leading Croatian and Slovene soprano of the younger generation, winner of the “Lucia Popp” (Slovakia) and “Antonin Dvořák” (Czech Republic) international vocal competitions. She was the last student of the legendary Anna Moffo.

Zadro has achieved great international success in the role of Armgard, singing on the opening night of the rediscovered (Boosey and Hawkes) first Offenbach opera “Die Rheinnixen” in the Slovene National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Ljubljana. Her other remarkable international successes have been Mimí in the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo; the role of the Countess in the Salzburg Landestheatre, and Violetta in the Teatro Municipal in Santiago.
